Father figures shape our lives in ways that last a lifetime.
From dads and grandads to mentors and friends, their influence runs deep.
We walk stronger, kinder paths because of them.

From dads and grandads to mentors and friends, their influence runs deep.
We walk stronger, kinder paths because of them.
This walk is deeply personal, honouring my dad, Roy, who lost his battle with cancer at just 55, and celebrating Lesley’s dad, Chris, whose enduring strength continues to shine through his struggle with Alzheimer’s. The Anglesey coastal walk is a solo journey of reflection, memory, and quiet conversation with the past. As I approach the age of 55 myself, I’ve spent the last decade carrying a self-imposed belief that this age was somehow my limit. This walk marks the moment I leave behind those self-fulfilling prophecies and commit to change—choosing health, resilience, and longevity—so I can remain a strong husband, father, and grandad for as long as humanly possible.
